WBCL is partnering with Hope Crisis Response Network - HCRN is a not-for-profit 501c3 organization located in Northern Indiana. The mission of HCRN during times of disaster is to:

• coordinate and deploy volunteers, resources, and financial assistance to the affected areas;
• serve as advocates to help victims obtain assistance from appropriate agencies and organizations;
• assist in devising and implementing post-disaster long term recovery plans for local communities.

Hope City - Gulfport is a modern campsite of bunkhouses and kitchen & dining facilities for housing weekly volunteers.

URGENT NEED FOR VOLUNTEERS!

Skilled workers needed:

• General Construction (framing, roofing, etc.)
• Finished Carpentry (trim and cabinetry)
• Surface Finishing (drywall and flooring)

For July, August and September….especially we need available retired skilled workers who can get away to Mississippi and help during the prime building time back here in Indiana when self employed workers are particularly busy here at home.

Teams are being sent weekly and all could use additional skilled worker. Register for information above and someone will contact you within a day or two.  There is a cost involved for workers including room and board and shared transportation.  (approximately $400.00 per person out of pocket would cover all expenses)

We stay at Hope City base camp fully air conditioned and right off the beach.

We also are welcoming new teams for some open weeks or to join with other teams…our goal is 25 to 35 volunteers per week all together.
