The WBCL Radio Network

Official General Rules

Applies to all contests.

1. Dates/Terms/Eligibility.

WBCL RADIO NETWORK may change the dates and/or terms of the Contest(s) without prior notice. Any material changes will be broadcast on WBCL RADIO NETWORK and/or posted here or in the Specific Material Terms for Individual Contests. The Contests are open to legal U.S. residents, 18 years of age and older, residing in Indiana, Ohio and Michigan WITHIN the geographical WBCL listening area, unless otherwise noted. There is no purchase necessary to enter or win. Employees or agents of WBCL RADIO NETWORK, other radio stations or any entity associated with the Contests, as well as members of the same household of any such employee or agent may not participate.

2. Prizes

Only one winner or qualifier per household per 30 days on WBCL RADIO NETWORK, for prizes valued under $600 dollars. After winning a prize valued over $600, winner must wait one full year before they are eligible to win another prize, regardless of value. All sales, prize and other taxes, gratuities and any other incidentals associated with the prize are the sole responsibility of the prizewinner. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and may not be substituted, except by WBCL RADIO NETWORK, prize donors or sponsors for reasons of unavailability. In which case, a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded.
Prizes unclaimed after 30 days become the property of WBCL RADIO NETWORK. WBCL RADIO NETWORK assumes no responsibility or liability for damages loss or injury resulting from acceptance or use of the prize. WBCL RADIO NETWORK is not responsible for replacing tickets in the event of show cancellations as a result of weather, promoter or performer. If the prize(s) are mailed by WBCL RADIO NETWORK, the winner assumes all risk of loss, theft, late or miss-delivery. At the sole discretion of WBCL Radio Network, any prize values over $100.00 might be required to be picked up in person with photo ID.

3. Conditions/Restrictions

A winner of a prize with a retail value of $600 or more will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and release, including a publicity release, as prepared by WBCL RADIO NETWORK prior to receiving their prize. Each winner will be responsible for any taxes or fees that result from the receipt and/or use of their prize and may receive an IRS Form 1099-Misc. The Contest is void where prohibited by law. Anyone using fraudulent means to participate and/or win the Contest will be disqualified.

WBCL RADIO NETWORK is not responsible for errors, problems or delays in the mail or telephone systems that may prevent callers or entries from reaching WBCL RADIO NETWORK. Listeners can call WBCL RADIO NETWORK’s studio lines (260) 745-9090 . If a caller gets disconnected for any reason before their name and phone number have been recorded, another call will be taken. Decisions of WBCL RADIO NETWORK station management are final. All contest entries will become the property of WBCL RADIO NETWORK. Winners and contest participants grants WBCL RADIO NETWORK the right to use their name and likeness (including voice) for promotional purposes with no compensation.

4. Release and Indemnification

In exchange for the right to participate in any Contest, each participant agrees to forever release and indemnify WBCL RADIO NETWORK, and its officers, directors, agents, subsidiaries and employees (the “Released Parties”), from any and all claims, demands and/or causes of action of any nature or kind whatsoever, whether presently known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, that arise out of the participant’s participation in the Contest.

5. Rules

Any violation of these general rules, specific material terms or internet rules below, will result in disqualification. Copies of these rules and terms are available at WBCL RADIO NETWORK’s Main Studios (1025 W. Rudisill Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN  46807) during regular business hours or by sending a request, along with a self-addressed stamped envelope, to WBCL RADIO NETWORK at this address.

Game and contest participants using the Internet must provide a valid email address. Limit one entry per email address unless otherwise noted.

Special Rules for contests for: WBCL Show Us Your Heart
To be eligible for the SUYH window sticker contest:

•  Pick up your free WBCL window sticker at WBCL or any participating bookstore in our listening area (or click here to have one mailed to you).
• Place your WBCL window sticker on your vehicle.  If a WBCL staffer spots your window sticker and leaves a coupon on your windshield, fill it out, mail it in and you will be entered in the drawings.
• Have someone take a picture of you with your WBCL window sticker on your vehicle.  Drop it in the mail to us or send it via email to wbcl@wbcl.org. Don’t forget to include your name, address and phone number!!   No more than ONE photo per month entered in this manner will be entered.
• You can only enter into the drawings IF you have been physically spotted or if you’ve spotted yourself via photo(s) as mentioned above.
• WBCL will be providing many opportunities for you to get spotted in 2010.  You may get spotted at any of our Stop N Spots, Tiny Town Tour, Window Sticker blitzes and events. 
• If your vehicle already has a WBCL window sticker on it, then at any WBCL event/concert – You must ASK a staff member to spot you.
• You must be age 18 or older to win any SUYH drawing, unless otherwise stated by WBCL.
• Upon winning any prize connected with the SUYH Window Sticker Contest, the winner will have 30 days to claim his/her prize.  The 30 day period begins from the date the winner is notified of winning by the telephone call from WBCL.  The prize will be forfeited if not claimed within 30 days.
