Outreach Ministries
Throughout the year, WBCL will be putting the spotlight on some people-helping organizations in our listening area. Some might be new to you and some you may have forgotten. We encourage you to become involved with the group that touches your heart. We believe it’s the “neighborly” thing to do.

Extraordinary Women Doing Extraordinary Things
Outreach Project
WBCL and other Christian radio stations in town are coming together during our Extraordinary Women conference outreach for The Charis House of Fort Wayne! The Charis House is a subsidiary of Fort Wayne Rescue Mission. All stations will be collecting new bedding items listed below during the e-Women conference being held at the Coliseum October 8-9.
We would love YOU, our WBCL listeners, to join in on this incredible ministry effort! Please pick up one/or more of the bedding items listed below and bring it to the conference in October. IF you are not planning on attending the event and want to participate – feel free to drop off the gift to the WBCL studios at 1025 W. Rudisill Blvd during business hours. This will be great fun and a great way to show our support together!

On July 19th, 2008, WBCL listeners supported the St. Peter's Sack Lunch Program by donating thousands of items to the Franciscan Center's ministry.
From the staff at the Franciscan Center: "We again cannot thank you enough for this effort. Our Sack Lunch coordinator, Sandy, was overwhelmed by the community support; she is not used to having so much supply on hand!"
