Like most donor-supported organizations, there are projects beyond the operating budget that require special funding. Though we have delayed asking for funds because of the recent economy, several issues now must be addressed. This page highlights few of the more urgent needs for 2010.

| The control boards in Studio A and B are
obsolete - and parts are no longer available. Since the control board is the brain through which all broadcasting originates, it is essential that we replace both these boards in order to continue 24/7 operations. |

Like many businesses and organizations,WBCL is computer driven in nearly every one of our operations. Because of the age of some of our software, plus government compliance regulations, it is mandatory that we upgrade major components of our financial tracking software. |

Due to a recent change in the FCC rules, WBCL has the immediate opportunity to expand the WBCJ signal to reach an additional 35,000 listeners for only $35,000. This is a time-sensitive, urgent project. |
