Hamilton Co. Election Board Approves Transition to Vote Centers for Elections

The Hamilton County Election Board has unanimously voted to transition from traditional precinct-based voting to a countywide voting center model. If you live in Hamilton County, you will no longer be required to cast your ballot at an assigned precinct on Election Day under the new system. Hamilton County will establish 57 voting centers under the approved plan. The voting centers will start in the 2027 municipal elections, giving officials a chance to refine the process before the 2028 presidential election.
