Governor Mike DeWine signed legislation yesterday that suspends Ohio’s gas tax for 90 days, saving about 39 cents per gallon for gasoline and 47 cents per gallon for diesel. The new law went into effect immediately since it was passed with an emergency clause. Ohio will use $725 million from the state’s general revenue fund to make up for the loss of tax revenue.
