I have been treated for Multiple Myeloma (cancer of bone plasma cells) for several months. My first phase of treatment led to what was thought to be a temporary remission, but I recently have had some severe pain in my upper left abdomen. A CT Scan was done, and I have a 3x1.7 inch tumor on the plural lining of my left lung. I have an appointment with a radiation oncologist this coming Thursday (7/23) to address this issue, and hopefully shrink/remove the tumor. I also have an appointment tomorrow (Tuesday) for a PET Scan to rule out any additional undetected tumors in my body. Asking for prayers that both procedures have very good results!
