One of my best friends brother, Chris is in the ICU fighting for his life. He was having issues breathing. Went into ER. The sputum that was done on Sunday tested positive for a bacteria in the tuberculosis family. They have had issues sedating him and have put him on a ventilator. They are now suggesting an ECMO machine that would oxygenate his blood for him. There are risks doing this, but feel it is the best option. He is only in his 30's.
I ask for God's loving arms be wrapped around him to let his body positively respond. I ask for the medical staff to find a way to make him comfortable and find answers on how to heal his body. I ask that his family can find answers, peace and give them the support they need as they go into these unchartered waters. They are scared please calm their thoughts of the unknown.
